History changes today: “Disbelievers put themselves BC.

Three Masses celebrate Pentecost Sunday, 50 days after the Resurrection of Jesus.  Catholics put that into Proper Perspective:  God began to speak Creation into Being about 13 trillion light-years ago by saying “Let there be light.”  At the prophesied time and place, that “Light” took Human Form when He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies was born of a Virgin from the House of David in Bethlehem.

For the past 4,000 years, there have been three groups of people on earth:  Believers followed Abraham, the Prophets, and He Who Fulfilled them. Disbelievers have worshiped their desires since Korah and his followers were killed during the Exodus.  Herds of Doubters wander in confusion.

Three Masses at The Vigil Mass, Extended Vigil, and Mass during The Day sum up all we need to know to be Catholic Believers and get our immortal souls into Heaven.  By reading the Bible Verses on those three days, anyone can become a Catholic Believer.

Searching for “Three Pentecost Masses”  let us see the Bible Reading we need to understand what St. Augustine called “the mother of all vigils” which explains the life, death, Resurrection, and Ascension of Christ and The Holy Spirit’s coming to earth.

Disbelievers hate the thought of thinking about Jesus. “No one knows more than I do.”  Believers become more Catholic every day.  Doubters wander aimlessly.

The Vigil Mass begins with one of four Chapters about human history. Genesis 11:1-9, reminds us how tribes settled into tower-building cities.  Exodus 19:3-2o tells us how God led Moses to get The Twelve Tribes into Israel.  Ezekiel, 37:1-14 explains God’s Power to help the Disobedient and Doubters when a “plain of dry dead bones heard The Word of The Lord and came to life.”  Joel 3:15, lets us know this simple fact: “The Lord poured out His Spirit upon all flesh and all who call on The Name of  The Lord shall be rescued.”

Pentecost Sunday’s Mass during the Day begins with Acts 2:1:11, “When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they (The First Catholic Pope and Cardinal-Bishops, the Disciples) were all in one place together. . . Tongues of fire came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with The Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages.”  The Jews from every nation heard them speaking in languages of Parthians, Medes, Elamites, Mesopotamia, Judea Capp[acocia, Pontus, Asian Phrgia, Pamphylia, Egupt Libya cear Cyrene, and Rome.  Yet we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the might acts of God.”

Then, a reading from 1 Cor 12:3-13 explains:  “No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ except by The Holy Spirit.”  Or, Romans 8:8-17 tells us: “Those in the flesh cannot please God.  But you are not in the flesh;  on the contrary, you are in the spirit if only The Spirit of God dwells in you.”

Then, the readings are followed by something new:  “Sequence Veni, Sancte Spiritus”, letting us know some of THe Holy Spirit’s Power:  “Come, Holy Spirit come!  And from Your celestial home shed a ray of light divine!” in which He is asked for much help, including “Guide the steps that go astray”.

One of these two Gospels is read.  John 20:19:23 explains that when “the doors were locked , where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them “Peace be with you. . .”Receive The Holy Spirit.  Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”  Only those filled with The Holy Spirit know that Jesus gave those Ordained as Living Links with His First Catholic Pope and Cardinal Bishops the power to forgive sins so our souls could be purified for Heaven.

The other Gospel that may be read, Romans 8:8-17, reminds us to be Catholic:  “Whoever loves Me will keep My Word, and My Fahter will love him and we will come to him and make out dwelling with him.”  That foretells Catholic Communion that allows His chosen people to obey the Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 12 times in the last half of John 6 and twice more at The Last Supper:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

It concludes:  “The Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”

May all be blessed to review the Three Catholic Masses whose Bible Teachings bring those whom God has chosen to be as Catholic as they can to Him, forever.
