History shows Catholics how to get our souls quickly into Heaven after death. #10.

History shows:  God gave us One Way to get our souls into Heaven quickly after death!

~

Question 1:  “Does History tell us to be Catholic?”

Answer:  “History is summed up in 2 Chr. 36.  Verses 14-23 include:  ‘In those days, all the princes of Judah, the priests, and the people added infidelity to infidelity.  They practiced all the abominations of the nations and were polluting The Lord’s Temple which He had consecrated in Jerusalem.’

~

Question 2:  “Did God tell them to be better?”

Answer:  “‘Early and often did The Lord, the God of their fathers, send His messengers to them because He had compassion on his people and His dwelling place.’

~

Question 3:  “What did His beloved people do while they ‘practiced all the abominations of the nations’.?”

Answer:  “‘.  .   they mocked the messengers of God, despised His warnings, and scoffed at His prophets, until the anger of The Lord against his people was so inflamed that there was no remedy.’

~

Question 4:  “What did God do?”

Answer:  “He had His people dragged off to Babylon.  Seventy years later, His chosen King, Cyrus, allowed some of them to return and rebuild The Temple and The City of Jerusalem.”

~

Question 5:  “What did His Chosen People do after that?”

Answer:  “They abandoned God, again.

~

Question 6: “What did God do?”

Answer:  “John 3:14-21 explains:  ‘God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so everyone who believes in Him might have eternal life.’

~

Question 7:  “Why did John put the word ‘might’ before ‘have eternal life’?”

Answer:  “Many believe in some of Jesus’s Teachings.  The more Teachings of Jesus we obey, the more likely it is that our soul ‘might’ have ‘eternal life’.”

~

Question 8:  “What does The Bible tell us about how God will judge people?”

Answer:  “‘And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil.
For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed.
But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.’

~

Question 9:  “How can a person show that their works are not ‘evil’, but show their ‘works may be clearly seen as done in God’?”

Answer:  “Those who most meaningfully ‘love the light’ will obey The Church-Creating Word with Which Jesus Christ Spoke His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being in Mt. 16:18-20:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’

In the next sentence, Jesus Personally tells each of us what those in ‘His Church’ may gain for their immortal soul by overcoming worldly interests:  ‘I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

History is simple.  The Word of God tells every person among every people:  ‘It pays to be Catholic.’  If we willfully and knowingly disobey God, we do not get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” for our immortal soul.

~

Question 10:  “Why isn’t everyone Catholic?”

Answer:  “Those who willfully and knowingly refuse to be Catholic have chosen to go to God’s Judgment while intentionally violating God’s First Commandment: ‘Thou shall have no other gods before Me.’

~

Catholics learn three things from History:

One:  Many stained and shrunken souls are purified in the awful pain of Purgatory.

Two:  Many souls are lost in agony, forever.

Three:  The better Catholics we are, the sooner our soul can be forever among:  ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’
