How do Catholics get ready for Christmas? We think about Prophecies. Jesus Christ fulfilled The Prophecies.

About sixty million people lived in The Roman Empire at the time of Jesus. Two hundred million more people lived in Asia, Africa, and America. There may have been three hundred million people on earth.

The average age of death? About 50. Every year, 6,000,000 people died. At least six million people were born.

Catholics take the Prophecies seriously. Micah, 5:2. “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for Me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

The tiny village of Bethlehem had about 300 residents. Every year, six people died. Six were born. Half were boys. Every year, three boys were born in Bethlehem.

In any year, one boy in a million would be born in Bethlehem.

Catholics think about another Prophecy in Psalm 22: 16-18. “Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.”

Psalm 34: 20 is another of 300 Prophecies about The Messiah! “He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.”

What are the odds that a boy born in Bethlehem would end up having all that happen to Him?

How do Catholics get ready for Christmas?

1. We think about the quadrillions to one odds that Jesus Christ did Fulfill The Prophecies.

2. We thank God that He did!

3. We try to obey Every Teaching that Jesus Christ left on earth! They are His Christmas Presents to us!

4. We begin by obeying This Teaching of Jesus Christ! “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

5. We thank He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies for giving us “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”!

6. We say “Merry Christmas” and we know what “Christmas” means!
