If Mary’s not our Mother, we are spiritual orphans.

Just as our place in Heaven will reflect our love of, and obedience to, Jesus, our joy on earth reflects how much love and respect we have for Mary.

Protestants do not think much about Mary.  So, their churches are dying.   Some congregations simply disappear.  Others are absorbed into more efficient mega-churches even less likely to revere Mary.  “Too divisive.  Might cut cash flow.”, their leaders agree, in the process explaining what they truly worship.

Without Mary in our hearts and minds, we’re missing our eternal Mother.  Of course we all have mothers.  For the most part, we love them.  But, as far as our souls are concerned, Mary is our eternal Mother just as God is our eternal Father.

No one suggests that Mary is God.  But, going through life without recognizing that She loves us, protects us, and intercedes for us is like being a spiritual orphan.  If Mary’s not our Mother, we are spiritual orphans.

We can’t get to Heaven without believing in, and obeying, Jesus.  We can’t be as happy on earth without recognizing His Mother as our Mother.  It’s the way things are.  The way they are meant to be.

So, as Catholic Fundamentalists say, “We should get with The Program.”
