Today's Reading gives everyone on earth the Best Reasons to Be Catholic!

Two Catholic facts:  1.  All of us have sinned.  2.  All of us are going to God’s Judgment.  Therefore, Jesus is our only hope.

Catholics focus on our souls because they will live forever in either Heaven or hell.

We find God’s Guidance in The Only Church that offers “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that the Often-Prophesied Son of David specifically gave to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Romans 4:1-8 explains The Catholic Advantage given to Abraham in Genesis 15:6!  “Abraham believed in God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”  That is reinforced by Psalm 32:1-2, “Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven
and whose sins are covered.  Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not record.

What keeps Catholic sins from being “recorded” in our Book of Life?  Jesus gave this Power to those Ordained as Living Links with His First Catholic Pope!  John 20:23 is clear!  “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

Every Catholic priest lets The Prophecy of Isaiah 43:25 live on earth! “I, even I, am He Who blots out your transgressions, for My Own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”

When we confess our sins to a Catholic priest, we do two things: 1.  We honor God.  2.  We have our sins forgiven by The Absolution that only Catholic priests are authorized by God to provide.

That is reinforced by Psalm 32:1-2, I turn to you, Lord, in time of trouble, and you fill me with the joy of salvation.  Blessed is he whose fault is taken away, whose sin is covered.  Blessed the man to whom the LORD imputes not guilt, in whose spirit there is no guile.”

Then, verse 3 tells us about the fate of those who do not respect He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies about His Soul-saving Promise that would take form in The Catholic Sacrament of Confession and Absolution:  “Because I kept silent, my bones wasted away;  I groaned all day long.”  We all hear those who worship themselves “groaning all day long”!

John 20:23 allows us to be among those blessed by Psalm 33:22, “May Your kindness, O LORD, be upon we who have put our hope in You.”

Jesus warns every sinner in Luke 12:1-7!  “Be afraid of The One Who, after killing, has the power to cast into Hell.  Yes, I tell you, be afraid of That One!”

May all who are blessed to believe in God and His Bible be blessed to “Be as Catholic as we can!”
