Jesus talks directly to Protestants. They ignore Him.

Today’s Reading includes John 5, 31-47.

In this Reading, Jesus talks directly to Protestants. They ignore Him. They should read what Jesus says about them. He describes Protestants perfectly:

“You search the Scriptures, because you think you have eternal life through them; even they testify on My behalf. But you do not want to come to Me to have life.”

That is the perfect description of Protestants! Jesus is right on all counts:

1. Protestants do “search the Scriptures”.

2. Protestants do believe they “have eternal life through them”.

3. Protestants do not “want to come to Me to have life.”

Every Protestant disobeys the Life-Giving Decree that Jesus repeated 14 times in His call to Catholic Communion. “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” !

Protestants do not want eternal life enough to access the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus left on earth!

Jesus continues:

“I do not accept human praise; moreover, I know that you do not have the love of God in you. I came in the name of my Father, but you do not accept me;
yet if another comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?”

1. He tells Protestants He does “not accept human praise.”

2. Jesus tells Protestants that He knows they do not have “the love of God in you.”

3. Jesus clearly tells Protestants He knows that they do not “accept” Him. He also knows that “if another comes in his own name, you will accept him.” Jesus is right, again! Protestants will follow The Profiteers of Protestantism in every age!

4. Jesus knows how false their faith is. He describes the what rules their souls. “you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God.” Protestants do love to praise each other!

Jesus talks directly to Protestants. They ignore Him.
