Jesus told us how to tell “wheat” from “weeds”. We all have ears.

Mt 13:36-43 includes This Word. Jesus told us how to tell “wheat” from “weeds”. We all have ears. Catholics hear His Words about our eternal fate!

“His disciples approached Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

Jesus told them who we are and where we live!

“He said in reply, He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seed the children of the Kingdom.”

Then, Jesus told us there are two kinds of people who live in “the field” that is “the world”!

“The weeds are the children of the Evil One, and the enemy who sows them is the Devil.”

Jesus was very clear about what happens to both groups of people!

“The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned up with fire, so will it be at the end of the age.”

We hear His Words about what happens at “the end of the age”!

~

“The Son of Man will send His angels, and they will collect out of His Kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers.”

Sin is willful disobedience to Any Word of God! What happens to those who cause others disobey Any Word of Jesus?

“They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”

What of those who tried to Obey Every Word of Jesus?

“Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.”

Jesus ends this passage with His Word of warning! He tells us how important it is to make the right decisions when it comes to obeying Every Word of His!

“Whoever has ears ought to hear.”

Catholics know! We all have “ears”!

Catholics begin our Journey to Obedience by “hearing” and obeying This Word of Jesus:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

We all have “ears”.
