Jesus “Updated” the old Prophecies about saving our souls. #25.

May all be blessed to love Jesus enough to get "the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven" for our immortal souls.

The Prophet Ezekiel told us what God told him in Ezekiel 18:21-28:  “Thus says the Lord GOD:   ‘If the wicked man turns away from all the sins he committed, if he keeps My statutes and does what is right and just, he shall surely live, he shall not die.'”

That Prophecy tells us that in the years Before Christ, souls who obeyed God ‘shall not die’!

2,000 years ago, He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies gave us a New Testament to explain how souls would be saved in the future.

Matthew 5:20-26 tells us what He Who Fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies taught about the fate of every immortal soul:  “Jesus said to His disciples:  ‘I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Some “scribes and Pharisees” hated Jesus for putting their careers at risk.  They hated Him more when He gave us His Prophecy of the only souls who will get into Heaven in His New Testament when He Spoke His only Church-Creating Words to His First Catholic Pope!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

May Today’s Reading let all be blessed to realize The Simple Truth:   Jesus loved those who would obey Him so much that they would receive “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that He gave His Life to leave to His First Catholic Pope and no one else.

Those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” include The Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing, and the Holy Orders that make it possible for Catholics to get those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” from God’s Catholic priests.

We pray that all will love Jesus respectfully enough to Be Catholic and get those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that He died to leave on earth.

~

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “May we live so we die / and our souls do not fry / in the fires of hell, forever.”
