Today's Catholic Reading tells us how to open the "Jesus Receiver" in our mind.

Today’s Catholic Reading tells us how to open the “Jesus Receiver” in our mind.

Question 1:  “How can we get our soul into Heaven?”

Answer:  “Ask God to:  ‘Teach me Your ways, O Lord!’  Today’s Psalm, 25:4-9, lets us be guided by God’s Great Wisdom so He ‘makes known to us His Ways and shows us His Path and guides us in His Truth’.”

~

Question 2:  “What group on earth respects God enough to ask for His Guidance?”

Answer:  “Those who ask God to let us be among:  ‘He guides the humble to justice, He teaches the humble His way.’

~

Question 3:  “What do we gain by striving to be ‘humble’?”

Answer:  “Psalm 85:8 tells us!  God will ‘show us His love and grant us His salvation.’

~

Question 4:  “Did Jesus tell us what people who refuse to be ‘humble’ do?”

Answer:  “Mt. 21:23-27 tells us how they keep God’s Truth from their minds!  ‘When Jesus had come into the Temple area, the chief priests and the elders of the people approached Him as He was teaching.’  They demanded to know:  ‘By what authority are you doing these things?’

~

Question 5:  “How did Jesus answer?”

Answer:  “Jesus made it clear that only the ‘humble’ could find His ‘authority’‘Jesus said to them in reply, ‘I shall ask you (every person on earth!) one question, and if you answer it for me, then I shall tell you by what authority I do these things.  ‘Where was John’s Baptism from?  Was it of heavenly or earthly origin?’

~

Question 6:  “Jesus was speaking to people who had seen and heard John The Baptist announce The Immediate Fulfillment of 2,000 years of Prophecies about Jesus Christ!  Did they give Jesus an answer?”

Answer:  “No!  Before answering that unexpected question, they gathered in a small group and considered whatever answer they would give Jesus:  ‘They discussed this among themselves and said: ‘If we say ‘Of Heavenly origin’, He will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’  Our most honest answer would be:  ‘He was a threat to our income.’   They were also cunning enough to realize:  ‘If we say John The Baptist was ‘Of human origin’, we fear the crowd for they all regard John as a prophet.’  Either answer would be a threat to their vanity and income.”

~

Question 7:  “How did they describe the results of their conversation?”

Answer:  “Every group of profiteers in History has ‘pleaded the same ignorance’ when asked if they wanted to avoid ‘humble honesty’‘We do not know.’

~

Question 8:  “How did Jesus respond?”

Answer:  “‘He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies said to them, ‘Neither shall I tell you by what Authority I do these things.’

Jesus gives every person on earth the responsibility to review John The Baptist’s Birth, Life, and Death.  Each of us must decide if he could have been as humble, good, timely, and convincing without God’s help.
