Today’s Catholic Reading has Prophecies of God turning “hatred” into Salvation! Genesis 37:3-4,12-13,17-28 explains that “Israel loved Joseph best of all his sons, for he was the child of his old age;… When his brothers saw that their father loved him best of all his sons, they hated him so much that they would not even greet him.”
Psalm 105: 16-21 confirms they sold Joseph into slavery, calling all Believers to “Remember the marvels the Lord has done: When The Lord called down a famine on the land and ruined the crop that sustained them, He sent a man before them, Joseph, sold as a slave… He was bound with chains (A “Hidden Prophecy” of Jesus standing before Pilate!)… and The Word of The Lord proved Him True… The King (Predicting what God would do for Jesus!) set and released Him… the ruler of the peoples (God!) set Him free (A “Hidden Prophecy” of Christ’s Resurrection and Ascension into Heaven!). He made Him Lord of His House and ruler of His possessions. (That is a “Hidden Prophesy” of Jesus Speaking His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”!)
Christ’s Church-Creating Passage from Mt. 16:18-20 is a Prophecy from Jesus fulfilling an earlier Prophecy in Today’s Psalm 118:22-23, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes.” Jesus included That Prophecy in Today’s Gospel from Mt. 21:33-46!
In Today’s Catholic Reading, Jesus shares This Prophecy about those who reject His Word: “Therefore I say unto you, The Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit.” (That is a Prophecy of Catholic priests who would be empowered to “produce” the fruit of bread and wine in the “Not-so Hidden Prophecy” from Melchizedek to Abraham at Jerusalem [Genesis 14:17-20]. Both Prophecies predict The Miracle of Transubstantiation that would let His Catholic priests provide The Actual Body and Blood of Jesus in every Catholic Mass for the past 2,000 years in this “sixth and final age” (St. Augustine) of The Loving Programmer’s Creation Program!)
Catholics are blessed to connect all those Prophecies with This Prophecy about Catholic Communion that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies repeated 12 times in the last half of John 6 and 2 more times at The Last Supper: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
May every person on earth choose to be blessed by believing in God enough to turn “hatred” into Salvation!
