Lent is a good time to keep our spirit out of the “bad rooms” in our brain!

For the 40 days of Lent, Catholics try to get our spirit under control. Lent gives us time to focus on our soul!

We know! Our spirit loves to live in the “bad rooms” of our brain.

During Lent, we try harder to keep our spirit out of those “bad rooms”! We know what those “bad rooms” are!

~

1. Pride is the worst of the “bad rooms” in our brain. When we proudly disobey Any Teaching from He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies, we are in that “bad room”.

2. Envy is another “bad room”. First, we envy The Power of God. Then, we think, “I don’t have to obey Him! I need to want what I want!”|

3. Greed is next door to Envy! “I am greedy to feel good about how wonderful I am!”

4. Gluttony is Envy on steroids! When we get into that “bad room”, all we want is more! It is a deadly disease that distracts our soul from God.

5. Anger makes us hate those who have what we want! It justifies taking what we want from our neighbors.

6. Lust is a very “bad room”. It draws us into satisfying desires that keep us from obeying God’s repeated call for “Chastity”.

7. Sloth is a “bad room” with a broken clock on the wall. “I will worry about obeying God tomorrow! Right now, I do not want to be bothered with obeying His Teachings.”

The first letter in each “bad room” spells PEGGALS! That’s easy to remember!

Those seven “bad rooms” are all connected! We move from one “bad room” to another in the lower part of our brain.

In Lent, we think about moving our spirit into God’s “good room”!

Every person who wants to be pleasing to Jesus Christ at Judgment thinks about obeying This Teaching of Jesus Christ. “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Our soul loves to hear That Word of Jesus Christ echoing in the “good room” of our brain!
