Lies Paralyze. Paralytics Cannot Defend Themselves and are Destroyed.

One sometimes wonder why so many bad things, and bad people, are actually praised by the state-run media. When we hear, for instance of “honor killings”, we don’t hear much. Never enough to actually be as outraged as we should be.

Indeed, any bad things that do not directly assault the state’s power to levy taxes or increase control of its citizens are invariably the result of “concern” and “social pressures of ancient traditions”, and we are urged to “be patient and open-minded”.

We hear little of Christians being murdered by their enemies. In fact, in any given news story about such things, more effort is spent minimizing what was done by placing the cause of the “good, underlying motives of those who did it” while encouraging us to be “understanding”.

The reason for all such lies, told about everything from abortion to the rich and famous who abuse children? Most of us are cowardly. We look for excuses to avoid actually risking life and limb, let alone money, standing up for what’s right.

One of the Gifts of The Holy Spirit is Courage. Few of us have a surplus and all of us could use more. We have but to ask.
