A tv set is a lot like a living light bulb. It broadcasts moving pictures into our brain. Television is a great asset to those who control it.

The most interesting thing to watch on television is our self. If we watch our self watch television, we can learn a great deal.

When we watch a talk show, we may find ourselves nodding in agreement. A “news” broadcast may make us outraged. Another segment makes us smile, while another makes us nod knowingly.

The people who wrote and produced the show knew what our reactions would be. All shows are on TV to help guide our thoughts and reactions. Once we are aware of that, we are less susceptible to being brainwashed.

Those unable to save themselves are also unable to view television critically enough to understand the broadcaster’s motivations. Such simple souls are easily led down one primrose path after another. Some will become angry if we point out their gullibility.

The inability to keep more than one thought in one’s mind at a time makes it easier for newsspewers to control our thinking.

When we train ourselves to ask “who is benefiting?” at every broadcast, we gradually set ourselves free. As we go down that road, we see that the TV does not broadcast facts, but opinions that those in charge want us to adopt as our own.

Those involved in selecting what is broadcast are very susceptible to bribery
