Jesus tell us human programs how to access The Loving Programmer. Mt. 6: 9-13 provides The Lord’s Prayer. Does The Lord’s Prayer say “Be Catholic.”?
Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. Amen.
The line on which Catholic Fundamentalism focuses is “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.” We want His will to be done, which is why we ask Him to do so in that line of the Lord’s Prayer.
“Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”
Kindly consider “Thy will be done”. In Heaven, there is One God. There is One Heaven. God is in complete, absolute control. There is no other source of authority.
Then, we say, “on earth as it is in Heaven”. We begin by saying, there is one God in Heaven and He is in complete control. When we conclude by saying “on earth as it is in Heaven”, we are in a conundrum. If there is One God in Heaven, why are there 40,000 churches on earth?
If we believe we should be “on earth as it is in Heaven”, we must be Catholic. There is no other way to obey His will, which was made clear when He said “Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church.”
How can a person say The Lord’s Prayer and not be Catholic? The answer is simple. Such a person can’t be taking God seriously enough to obey.
Empty faiths, empty words?
Best to be Catholic.
