Many programmed entities deny their nature.

Each of us is a soul that, at the moment of its creation, was programmed with an eternal life, the ability to wrap a mind and body around it during our days in the clay, and the ability to choose whether or not we’d take The Unprogrammed Programmer or His many, many programmed entities more seriously.

Many of the other programmed entities were carefully downloaded to provide us with choices in every aspect of our lives. The most basic choice we make, from which all our behavior stems, is whether or not we will access The Operating Instructions (Church and Scripture) for guidance. If we choose to do so, we will grow closer to The Programmer with every right decision we make. If we choose to take any of the programmed entities more seriously than Him, we find ourselves separated from The Loving Programmer, and living with less of His love.

Separating ourselves from His love is analogous to a light bulb preferring an intermittent connection with its power source, blinking until premature burn-out. When we feel ourselves getting farther from our power source, we should immediately ask, and work, to be re-connected. The best prayers request that His love flows through us.

All prayer involves a desire for programming assistance. When we ask Him for something, we are actually requesting Him to change, or more likely, direct one of His angels to change, some part of The Program to provide our need.

The most primitive, frequent, and least worthwhile prayer requests are of the “Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?” variety. While such prayers are often answered, they are not usually things that help us a lot. It is better to pray for guidance, for others to be helped, and to endlessly request greater access to The Programmer, not to His many, many downloads.

The eternal nature of our soul is constantly driving us to grow closer to The Programmer. Many of us ignore that and focus on lesser things. The inevitable unhappiness that brings to the soul results in mental disturbances which eventually begin to disrupt body functions.
