Today’s Reading is from Lk 24:13-35. We realize: The Profiteers of Protestantism do not want their donors to “see” Jesus!
“Two of Jesus’ disciples were going to a village seven miles from Jerusalem called Emmaus, . .”
What happened? “Jesus himself drew near and walked with them, but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him.”
That’s an amazing statement! Their “eyes”, not their brains, were kept from “seeing” Him! Jesus had the power to change the way their “eyes” worked!

“He asked them, ‘What are you discussing as you walk along?'”
“One of them, named Cleopas, explained what the chief priests and rulers had done to Jesus.”
They spoke of the fact that His Body had disappeared!
Jesus explained to them all that had happened, “beginning with Moses and all the prophets, . .”
They “urged” Jesus to stay with them and eat.

Then, this happened! “And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him . . “ (emphasis added)
They had received The Body of Christ in Communion! The Miracle of Transubstantiation at that first Catholic Mass after The Last Supper let their “eyes” see Jesus!
They raced back to Jerusalem. There, they heard! “’The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!’
“Then the two recounted what had taken place on the way and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread.”

The Profiteers of Protestantism demand that their donors disobey This Instruction of Jesus Christ!
“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” Jesus repeated that fourteen times!
The Profiteers of Protestantism cannot “see” that The Body of Jesus Christ is visible at every Catholic Mass! Their “eyes” cannot “see” Jesus!
They keep the “eyes” of their followers from seeing Jesus in “the breaking of the bread”!
Think of all the souls kept from “life” by The Profiteers of Protestantism! Is there a greater evil on earth than to keep immortal souls from even “seeing” “the breaking of the bread”?
