The world’s stock markets are not exactly in free-fall, but the declines are obvious. Values of productive groups of people in millions of companies around the world are dropping.

Catholic Fundamentalism looks for the causes of such reductions in stock values and concludes: “There is an ongoing war between those who hate and steal from their neighbors and those who are hated and robbed simply because they’ve been successful. The haters and stealers have taken, and threaten to take so much more, that the future values of productive companies of men and women are imperiled.”

Ultimately, the value of their shares is declining because they are no longer perceived as being able to defend themselves in the ‘Parasite Wars’. A “long period of decline and stagnation” is predicted by experts.

It’s simple enough to understand what some have begun to call the “Parasite Wars”. Ask yourself, “My local teachers’ union has just demanded more money, benefits, and pensions. They are forcing my property taxes to escalate. Can’t they reduce their salaries, benefits, and 80% pensions a lousy ten or fifteen percent so that I can keep my home?”

Then, ask yourself, “My dog has a tapeworm that’s killing it. Will the tapeworm realize that, by shedding a few segments, the dog can go on living, thereby keeping it alive?”

Realizing that the answers are universally “No.” helps us understand the both the nature and the desperation of those who feed off their neighbors. A declining stock market reflects the reality that those being weakened are increasingly powerless to keep themselves healthy.
