Mary, or political correctness?

St. Athanasius (293-373) defended the Holy Trinity against destructive attacks of the corrupting virus. St. Athanasius was reviled, attacked, and dragged into court on trumped up charges. He was accused of killing Bishop Arsenius and using his severed hand in magic. They introduced a severed hand as evidence. Then, Bishop Arsenius showed up and showed both his hands to the court. “This brought the enemies of Athanasius into an undescribable rage; they beset upon him and almost strangled him”. Emperors Constantine, Constantius the Arian, and Julian the apostate openly persecuted St. Athanasius but could not destroy his unwavering steadfastness.

In every age, The Church Jesus Founded is similarly attacked. In recent times, The Mother of God has been ignored by politically correct Catholics. She, who caused the sun to dance at Fatima, left instructions. They were not completely followed. This well-written sums up the conflict: http://www.faithfulanswers.com/has-russia-been-consecrated-to-the-immaculate-heart-of-mary/

It includes this historical detail: “Our Lord requested to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque on June 17, 1689 that the King of France, Louis XIV, have the country publicly Consecrated to the Sacred Heart. He and his son and grandson refused. Louis XVI was deposed June 17, 1789, Louis XVI was beheaded by a mob one hundred years, to the day, after a similar injunction.”
The mills of God grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.

The Consecration requested by The Mother of God at Fatima has not been completely done. The Holy Mother continues to be disobeyed by those who, like the corrupting virus, do not want God’s power to come more fully into the world. Disobedience was fought by St. Athanasius 1,700 years ago.

We are inspired by the faithful to be numbered among them. Humble and obedient Catholics must pray that our Pope and Bishops fully obey the requests of God’s Blessed Mother.

Those who disobey will lose Her approval at Judgment. Those who make excuses for not heeding may earn Her dislike. Those are farther from sanity are the millstone people who choose to discourage others from full and complete obedience to Mary’s request. The farthest from sanity are those who bear false witness against those who plea for full obedience to Mary’s instructions.

One may readily picture The Blessed Mother, St. Athanasius, and the souls of all Holy Men and Women who suffered for the faith testifying as to how our souls should be sentenced when brought before the court. Won’t The Judge almost always heed His hand-picked jury?

As we look ahead, we see that it is lunacy to not strive to live a life that will prompt Mary and the saints to ask for God’s mercy on our behalf. Best to be among sheep, not goats. The choice is clear. Mary, or political correctness?
