Moses is The Middle Link in “The God-Abraham-Moses-Jesus-Catholic Connection”! Catholics make “The Connection” that allows us to honor “The Agreement” that God made in His Last Link with Himself, The Cathoic Church!

Question 1: “Does Today’s Catholic Bible Reading make ‘The God-Abraham-Moses-Jesus-Catholic Connection’?
Answer: “Today’s Reading calls us to do more than see The Connection! God has Spoken an ‘Agreement’ into being that that His people must obey. Dt 26:16-19:
‘Moses spoke to the people, saying: ‘This day The Lord, your God, commands you to observe these statutes and decrees. Be careful, then, to observe them with all your heart and with all your soul. Today you are making this agreement with The Lord:
He is to be your God and you are to walk in His ways and observe His statutes, commandments and decrees, and to hearken to His voice.'”

Question 2: “What ‘Commands’ of God must we obey to be in ‘Agreement’ with Him?”
Answer: “We must obey His Ten Commandments: We must not have any gods before Him. We must not put idols before Him or take His Name in vain. We are also ‘commanded’ to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy and Honor our father and mother. We shall not kill, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet.'”

Question 3: “What happens when a person breaks His ‘Commandments’ and does not live according to the terms of His ‘Agreement’?”
Answer: “God is clear! ‘None of his virtuous deeds shall be remembered, because he has broken faith and committed sin; because of this, he shall die.’”

Question 4: “What are we to do if we live in what Psalm 130: 1:-8 tell us are Agreement-breaking ‘iniquities’ that keep us from being ‘redeemed’?”
Answer: “Catholics are guided by The Prophet Ezekiel 18:31: ‘Cast away from you all the crimes you have committed and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.’ Then, we may live according to God’s ‘Agreement’.”

Question 5: “Many are blessed to see ‘The God-Abraham-Moses-Jesus-Catholic Connection’ in Mt. 5:20-26. ‘Jesus said to his disciples: ‘I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the Kingdom of heaven.'”

Question 6: “Is Jesus telling us to make a new ‘Connection’ with God and be ‘Catholic’?”
Answer: “Jesus brings us to be closer to God than Moses told us: ‘You have heard that it was said to your ancestors, You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.
But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment, . . . and whoever insults his brother will be answerable to the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, ‘You fool’ will be liable to fiery Gehenna.’

Question 7: “What does Jesus promise will happen to those who refuse to be ‘reconciled’ with their neighbor?”
Answer: “‘Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court. Otherwise, your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard,
and you will be thrown into prison. Amen, I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.’”

Question 8: “What happens to our soul if we become an ‘opponent’ of The Only Church Jesus Christ died to Speak Into Being on Earth with His Church-Creating Word? ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’”
Answer: “That Church-Creating Word of Jesus is ‘God’s Final Link’ in ‘The God-Abraham-Moses-Jesus-Cathoic Connection’. If we die in willful disobedience to That, or Any Word, of Jesus, many are saying ‘You fool!’ to Jesus Christ, Himself!
Not a smart thing to do.”
