A new interpretation of an old Parable.

Today’s Gospel Reading is from Mt 13: 31-35.

“He spoke to them another parable. ‘The Kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch was leavened’.”

To Catholic Fundamentalism, the “three measures” are the three peoples of earth, the descendants of Shem, Ham, and Japheth from whom each of us is, in varying degrees, descended.

They are described as “wheat flour” because they have been, or will be, separated from the weeds as described in Mt. 13:30.

The “yeast” represents the teachings and The Sacraments of The Church Jesus Founded. They lead the chosen to receive the Sacraments without which sins cannot be forgiven nor Heaven attained.

The “woman” who did the mixing? The Blessed Mother of our Saviour, mixing Man with God. Without His Blessed Mother’s agreement, He could not have come to earth.

The Church owes its existence to Mary saying “Yes.” to God. The resulting Church provides what’s necessary for the chosen of every race to rise to Heaven.
