No one says “Be Catholic!” as clearly as St. John! 2.

St. John tells of John The Baptist in John 1: 1-16.

“A man came, sent by God.  His name was John.  He came as a witness, as a witness to speak for The Light, so that everyone might believe through him.  He was not the light, only a witness to speak for the light.”

John The Baptist was The Last Prophet.

St. John makes it clear!  “The Word was the true light that enlightens all men;  and He was coming into the world.”

Then, St. John reminds us that Jesus is The Creator of The World!   “He was in the world that had its being through Him, and the world did not know Him.”

Catholics understand how bizarre His Coming is!

The coming of Jesus Christ was like having Jeff Bezos get a job wrapping packages for Amazon!

It was like having Caesar Augustus delivering mail!

It was like Bill Gates,  answering phone calls at the Microsoft help desk!

It was like The King of England, washing dishes in his kitchen!

It was like John D. Rockefeller, pumping gas at one of his filling stations!

The coming of Jesus Christ is That Bizarre!

Catholics see The Miracle of God coming to earth!  He was unrecognized!  “He came to His Own domain, and His own people did not accept Him.”

John tells us why Jesus did that.  He wanted to separate His Followers from all others.  “But to all who did accept Him, He gave power to become children of God .  .  .”

~

Catholics know!  It is impossible to “accept” Jesus while we willfully disobey Any Word of Jesus!  For 2,000 years, obedience to Every Word of Jesus has let obedient people become “children of God”!   Every Catholic obeys This Word of Jesus Christ!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

“the children of God” strive to follow The Father’s Instructions brought to earth by His Son!  “The Word was made flesh, He dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory that is His as the only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

No one says “Be Catholic!” as clearly as St. John! 2.
