One reason The Church may have withdrawn: Final Exam.

The Catholic Church has withdrawn from the world.  This new, conciliatory attitude disappointed many Catholics.  Why, for instance did The Church refuse to release The Third Secret, revealed at Fatima by Mary?  It was supposed to have been made public in 1960.  That has not happened.  Worse, many in The Church hierarchy did what they could to silence those who wanted it made available to all.

Why did The Church back away from doctrines defended for 1900 years?   Now, The Church says that She will not even try to convert Jews, Moslems, or anyone to Catholicism.  Why?

The Church in the 1950s was in the process of taking over the world.  Why did The Church suddenly seem to move backwards?  Is there an answer in The Book of Job?  Then, the devil asked God:  “Why don’t we test your beloved Job to see if he could handle losing nearly everything he had?”

The devil, a century ago, may have cried from the pits:  “God, there’s no way I can win as long as Your Church stands there like a rock.  Let’s test Your faithful  the same way we tested Job.  Let’s see what happens to your precious Catholics if The Church withdraws from the world.”

With or without that request, God might have decided:  “The Creation Program is running down.  It is time to provide one last test of faith.  Let’s see which Catholics will stand firm, even if hate-mongers worm themselves and their friends into positions of authority.”

The doors to The Church were unlocked.  Some very bitter, angry, hateful people squeezed in.  They included Communists, apostates, protesters, perverts, and pseudo-intellectuals who hated even the most fleeting notion that love or truth could exist.  In mere decades, they replaced certitude with ambivalence everywhere they could.

Many were so confused they left The Church.  Most remained faithful to the eternal, Catholic truths.  One reason The Church may have withdrawn:  Final Exam.

The Garden is self-weeding.  Is the pile of weeds about to be ignited?
