Our “Obedience Bubble”.

36-bubbles-1

Our brain as a mass of bubbles?  “I believe in Jesus.” is one bubble.  That bubble grows into Our “Obedience Bubble” when we say, “I will obey Jesus.”

As that bubble of thought grows, it takes over more of the mind.  Other bubbles resist.  “I want to have sex!”  “I want more money!”  “I hate my neighbor!”  “I want drugs!”  “I want to stop thinking!”

As our “Obedience Bubble” grows, the “I want!” bubbles begin to shrink.  We want to obey more.

Thoughts in our “Obedience Bubble” take form as we realize:  “Jesus Founded One Church.  Of it, He said, ‘Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Our “Obedience Bubble” asks “Does Jesus want me to be in The Only Church He Founded?”

We study, and find that The Church “against the gates of hell shall not prevail” teaches that we may receive His Actual Body and Blood in every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.

Then, this fact breaks through:  “Jesus clearly calls us to Catholic Communion.  He said, 14 times, ‘If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.’  If my ‘Obedience Bubble’ is going to grow, I must become Catholic!”

Not so simple!  We must learn what is involved in obeying “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

We find we must follow rules to enter The Church Jesus Founded.  We must have our sins forgiven!  Our “Obedience Bubble” finds that Jesus gave those ordained in living link with The Apostles the ability to forgive our sins.  His words to them were clear:  “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

When our “Obedience Bubble” is big enough, we become Catholic.  It swallows the smaller bubbles.

Some people hate it when our “Obedience Bubble” gets big enough to put us among those to whom He said “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
