Our soul is different from our spirit.

Our soul is different from our spirit. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and effectual, and more piercing than any two edged sword; and reaching unto the division of the soul and the spirit, of the joints also and the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Recently, I saw the difference between my spirit and my soul. Stress had induced a case of shingles. Shingles is an infection of the nervous system. A nerve in my brain was throbbing. Sleep was impossible for several nights.

I could feel my spirit, traveling up and down an inflamed nerve that went through the right half of my brain, from front to back. It was trying to calm the inflamed nerve.

My spirit was like a tiny car, smaller than a molecule! It traveled back and forth on, or in, a highway a few inches long and smaller than a hair.

Suddenly, the car slowed down. My soul, barely bigger than an electron, looked out the car window into memory banks that were suddenly visible. I found myself reading e-mails that I had written four or five years ago!

They were all on file! I read them clearly. I remembered writing them! Finally, I understood! Our memory is a huge library! Every word we spoke or wrote was clearly recorded and on file!

Some of our thoughts may be recorded, as well.

I realized dimly what happens to each of us at Judgment! All that we allowed ourselves to say and do is recorded. At Judgment, it is downloaded on a “flash-drive”. We, and He Who will Judge us all, see clearly what we have done and what we have failed to do.

I found myself asking, “Can any sane person reject The Power of Absolution that The Prophesied Messiah gave to His Catholic priests when He Empowered them:

“Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

We can get “the dirty parts” out of our mind before Judgment!

We’d better!
