Parish Priest, exterminator extraordinaire.

Catholic Fundamentalists understand that lies are living things. They swarm into the mind whenever they can. Lies began to infect us when Adam and Eve altered their genetic code and passed on “infectablity” by choosing the lies of the Devil over the Truth of God.

A tiny lie, like a single cancer cell, is all that it takes to begin corrupting our spiritual and mental operations. Lies grow into sins. Sins turn into tumors that try to devour the soul.

We embrace and pass on lies because we value bits of programmed matter more than we love The Programmer. Each individual is eventually destroyed by the lies they invite into their minds, unless those lies are removed.

As lies grow and multiply, they infect families, groups, and nations. When enough people embrace a lie, nations are destroyed.

Demonic possession, in its most common form, is manifested in the living lies that corrupt the soul, take over the mind, and spread to others. Those infected are rendered useless for their highest purpose, moving closer to God.

The Roman Catholic Priest has the power to remove the twisted bits of spirit that comprise each lie. He can strengthen us by changing the wine and wafer into the Body and Blood of God. He can make us fit for this strongest of medicine by granting us Absolution.

At the first sign of termites, we call an exterminator. At the first sign that we are being led astray by lies, we should see a priest.

As we do so, we should remember to be grateful to God for having provided us with men with the power to exterminate the tiny, infectious lies that work day and night to destroy us.
