The Only Church Jesus Founded has classified sins into seven categories. The Seven Deadly Sins are Pride, Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Anger, Lust, and Sloth. We may share PEGGALS, an acronym to help remember those who would destroy our souls. PEGGALS, our soul’s enemies.

In our time, Catholic Fundamentalism suggest that each corrupting virus is in one of the seven tribes of corrupting viruses that attack the human soul.

Each human soul has seven attack points that are vulnerable to Pride, Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Anger, Lust, and Sloth. Each demon targets some part of the soul. All corrupting viruses begin with confusion and try to end with destruction.

The living viruses that are the Deadly Sins have their counterparts. Seven bands of Restoring Angels counteract and drive away the corrupting demons when any of us human program asks The Loving Programmer to send them to help.

Those under attack by Pride ask for the necessary Angels of Humility. Bothered by demons corrupting with envy? Ask The Loving Programmer to be filled with Kindness. Is greed a problem? It is defeated by Charity.

For some, Gluttony must be overwhelmed. Temperance drives gluttony away. What will help us get rid of anger when it tries to drown our soul? Patience.

When we are tempted toward the sins of the flesh, we ask that we be given a love of Chastity.

Sloth keeps us from getting as much done as we should. Asking for Diligence keeps us from offending God, and ourselves, by the laziness that afflicts all who are not diligent.

Here we are. We are either being corrupted and weakened by the seven corrupting viruses. Or, we are strengthened to do good by the seven Restoring Angels.

The best choice is obvious. We have but to believe and ask for help to obey.
