Question 1: “What ‘job’ does Peter give every Catholic to do?”

Answer: “Acts 2:36-41 tells us! ‘On the day of Pentecost, Peter said to the Jewish people, ‘Let the whole house of Israel know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.’

~

Question 2: “Is Peter telling every Catholic that our job is to let ‘the whole house of Israel know for certain that God has made Jesus both Lord and Christ?’

Answer: “That is our job! We begin by understanding that ‘the whole house of Israel’ includes every person on earth who is able to understand This Word from Jesus Christ!

‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.’

~

Question 3: ‘Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and they asked Peter and the other Apostles, ‘What are we to do, my brothers?’

Answer: “Peter told them, and us, to begin our job by working on ourselves! ‘Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’

~

Question 4: “What will The Holy Spirit do?”

Answer: “He will tell us to get the ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’. They include The Seven Sacraments that He left only to The Catholic Church.”

~

Question 5. “Is every Catholic in History given that job?”

Answer: “Yes! ‘For the promise is made to you and to your children and to all those far off, whomever the Lord our God will call.’

~

Question 6: “Who does not want us to hear and obey that ‘call’ from ‘The Lord, our God’?

Answer: “Peter described them! ‘Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.’

~

Question 7: “Did the first Catholics see the need to obey Jesus and be in His Holy Church?”

Answer: “‘Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand persons were added that day.’

In every age and place, Catholics try to save ourselves, our families, and our neighbors from those in our ‘corrupt generation’. They are those who willfully choose to disobey Any Teaching from Jesus.”
