England has long been an example of leftist failure. Nothing its government does works, and it continues working hard to fail at more things.
Recently, angry leftists there demonized a couple of new coal-fired generators. They have also stopped the building of new nuclear generators.
At the same time, they say they believe in “empowering the people”. In fact, they do not want people to have any kind of power, either political, electrical, or mechanical. They actually hate the thought of people gaining in power. When the people of Ireland voted to stay out of the European Union, which, according to the Union’s Pretend Constitution, would cancel it, bureaucrats simply ignored them, while refusing to let other countries have similar votes.
No professional leftists complained about taking any kind of power from the people.
