We wear sunglasses to keep bright lights from hurting our eyes.  Protestantism, sunglasses for the soul.

Jesus Founded One Church to provide the light of the world.  Its teachings are open and available to all.  By a great miracle, Jesus ordained Catholic priests with the power to forgive sins.  “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

The devil and his demons hated Jesus, “the light of the world.”  Those who follow dark desires hate His Church today.

Protestants avoid both the bright light of The Catholic Church and the darkness of sin.  They are satisfied with glimmers of truth:

“Jesus said if I believe, I can go to Heaven.   If I am a Protestant, I only have to believe!  I do not have to obey!  I get to do what I want and get to Heaven.  I choose Protestantism!”

Protestantism, sunglasses for the soul.  “In Protestantism, I can find denominations that will let me do as I please.  I do not have to fight those destructive desires!   I don’t have to do the hard work of  obeying!  I can do what I want and still get to Heaven!   No bright lights shining on my darker desires!  Protestantism, sunglasses for the soul.”

Jesus repeated His clear call to Catholic Communion fourteen times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  The only way to obey?   Worthily strive to receive Catholic Communion from a Catholic priest in a Catholic Church.

Hundreds of millions choose another way:  “I am a good person.  Sure, I am selfish and want to do what I want.  Still, I am a good person.  Those pesky Catholics are always worried about sins keeping their souls from Heaven.  Not me!  I just put on my shades and believe!  Protestantism, sunglasses for the soul.”
