The rich man was sent to hell for ignoring his poor neighbor, Lazarus’s suffering. Luke, 16: 19-31 tells us that the rich man was able to see, across an impassable divide, Lazarus in the joy of Heaven. We fear that some of our dear friends will be eternally locked into the eternal, agonizing boredom of Protestantism’s Endless Bible-Study Groups for ignoring the suffering of the unborn.
Do billions of souls sit forever in one of Protestantism’s Endless Bible-Study Groups? Like the rich man in hell, they see Heaven, up and across the Greatest Divide. Their teacher faces them, his back to Heaven, and tells them, for the trillionth time, “Catholics are cursed for worshiping Mary!”
Those before him look across the way, as did the rich man. They see Jesus, enthroned in splendor! His Blessed Mother, The Most Perfect of Created Beings, is seated alongside Him in eternal glory, just as Solomon’s mother was seated next to his throne. They see happiness they will never have. The teacher rants on, never realizing those before him see The Eternal Joy from which he led them.
“Catholics are condemned because they worship Saints and idols!” Those facing him see, and may hear, rejoicing throngs of saved souls speaking with sanctified Saints in Heaven. “Thank you!” cry clamoring crowds of Catholic souls, “You gave us examples that we were blessed to follow! You have helped us get to Heaven! We love you more now than we did on earth!”
The leaders of Protestantism’s Endless Bible Study Groups drone eternally on: “Catholics tried to gain Indulgences from The Only Church Jesus Founded so they could get to Heaven!” The suffering souls they hector look across the way. There, they see and hear the the rapturous joys of those helped to Heaven by sincere, repentant Indulgences they obtained on earth from The Only Church Jesus Founded.
Each realizes: “If I had not let myself be led away from The Only Church Jesus Founded, I could have, I would have, asked for forgiveness from Catholic priests, the only people on earth God promised ‘Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.’ What awful vanity led me to ignore The Words of Jesus?”
Agony eternally grows as they see more clearly what they have missed. There is no joy in Protestantism’s Endless Bible-Study Groups.
