Protestants recoil in horror from such thoughts as these!

Jesus made Promise Number 1: “I come to divide.” What does Jesus divide? Jesus divides His obedient sheep from His willfully disobedient enemies.

His obedient “friends” are identified by Promise Number 2. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

His obedient “friends” obey The Church-Founding Word with Which Jesus Spoke The Only Church He Founded Into Being.

Promise Number 3: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Jesus made Promise Number 4. Jesus repeated fourteen times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

That Holy Food has been provided at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.

The only people who may “have life in you” must obey His Church-Founding Decree to receive That Holy Food.

Catholic priests preside over The Miracle of Transubstantiation. Jesus gave them the power to change bread and wine into The Body and Blood of Jesus.

Jesus Ordained His First Catholic Bishops with that Power. He wanted His obedient sheep to “have life in” us for thousands of years that followed His Ascension. He gave His Bishops, and those ordained in living link with them, that Power.

Jesus Spoke that Power Into The Catholic clergy with His Life-Giving Command at The Last Supper: “Do this in remembrance of Me.”

Every week, a billion Catholics may receive Communion. Each wafer weighs about a quarter of a gram. Each sip of Consecrated Wine, His Blood, may weigh that much. Half a billion grams of Jesus are in and around the world’s Catholics every week! There are 454 grams in a pound. 500,000,000 grams divided by 454 = 1,101,321 pounds.

The figures are staggering! In a year, 52 weeks x 1,101,325 = 57,268,900 pounds of Jesus are provided! In a decade? 572,689,000 pounds of Jesus comet to earth! In a century? 5,726,890,000 pounds of Jesus enlighten the globe.
