Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord
Reading 1
Acts 1:1-11
In the first book, Theophilus,
I dealt with all that Jesus did and taught
until the day he was taken up,
after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit
to the apostles whom he had chosen.
He presented himself alive to them
by many proofs after he had suffered,
appearing to them during forty days
and speaking about the kingdom of God.
While meeting with them,
he enjoined them not to depart from Jerusalem,
but to wait for “the promise of the Father
about which you have heard me speak;
for John baptized with water,
but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
When they had gathered together they asked him,
“Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons
that the Father has established by his own authority.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
throughout Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.”
When he had said this, as they were looking on,
he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.
While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going,
suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them.
They said, “Men of Galilee,
why are you standing there looking at the sky?
This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven
will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”

Eph 1:17-23Reading II
Brothers and sisters:
May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation
resulting in knowledge of him.
May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened,
that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call,
what are the riches of glory
in his inheritance among the holy ones,
and what is the surpassing greatness of his power
for us who believe,
in accord with the exercise of his great might,
which he worked in Christ,
raising him from the dead
and seating him at his right hand in the heavens,
far above every principality, authority, power, and dominion,
and every name that is named
not only in this age but also in the one to come.
And he put all things beneath his feet
and gave him as head over all things to the church,
which is his body,
the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.
Mt 28:16-20Gospel
The eleven disciples went to Galilee,
to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.
When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.
Then Jesus approached and said to them,
“All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
Catholic Fundamentalism Interpretation:
In the first book, Lover of the Word, (hopefully, all of us!) I dealt with all that The Living Program did and the Operating Instructions to which He gave us access until the day He was taken up (to be with The Loving Programmer), and, after giving Operating Instructions through The Holy Wireless Connector to the technicians to whom He gave power to keep the faithful human programs operating properly.
He, after being erased, was perfectly restored, and showed Himself to them in many ways after He had suffered, and appeared to them during forty days, telling them about Programming HQ. While meeting with them, He told them to stay in Jerusalem, and to wait “for The Loving Programmer’s promise I told you about, not John’s baptism with water, but the joining of you with Me and The Loving Programmer through The Holy Wireless Connector.”
When they gathered, they asked Him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore access to Programming HQ to the Twelve Tribes?”
He answered, “It is not for your human programs to know how The Creation Program proceeds. That’s The Loving Programmer’s concern. (Your job is to obey the Operating Instructions). The Loving Programmer has done what He wanted, but you will receive increased programming assistance when The Holy Wireless Connector joins you more fully with The Loving Programmer and Myself. You’ll be sharing the Operating Instructions and Access Codes in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to people all over the Globe Program. When He had said this, He was lifted up as they watched, and a cloud took Him from their sight.
While they were staring at the sky as He left, suddenly two men in white clothing (powerful Programming Assistants), stood beside them. They said,
“Men of Galilee, why are you standing there, looking at the sky? Jesus, the Living Program, has been taken from you to Programming HQ and will return in the same way as you have seen Him going there.”
The Program has joined The Loving Programmer in The Control Chair to shouts of joy from The Programming Assistants; there is a blast of trumpets for Him.
All you human programs, applaud, shout to The Loving Programmer with cries of gladness, for The Lord, the Most High, rules His Program.

The Holy Trinity rules Creation; sing praise to Him. He rules over all the nations, He rules from The Command Chair.

Brothers and sisters, may The Loving Programmer download within your individual operating system a Holy Wireless Connection allowing you access to better mental operation within The Creation Program, accessing that which you could not previously access. May your errors be erased to know what great hope accompanies His call (to you),
that you understand how much you have to gain in what He has allowed you to access among those close to Him, and just how much overpowering power there is for those of us who access and download Him through the access codes He has given we who believe in accord with His unstoppable will, which He had operating in The Beloved Program, restoring Him and bringing Him to The Control Chair in Programming HQ, far above even the most powerful programmed spiritual entities, and every other program that has been written, named, and downloaded within The Creation Program for all time to come.
And, He put all things beneath The Beloved Program, and gave Him as head over all things to The Church, which is His Body, the fullness of the one who has overseen the operation of every subsidiary program in every way.
The remaining 11 disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had sent them. When they saw Him (restored after a painful, long, agonizing erasure of which they were all aware), they doubted what they saw.
Then, Jesus approached, and said, “All the (programming) power in Programming HQ and all the Creation Program has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the human programs, no matter what nation they’re in, washing away their error in The Name of The Loving Programmer, The Beloved Program, and The Holy
Wireless Connector, teaching them to operate their individual, human programs according to My Operating Instructions. And, behold, (if you do) I am with you, always, until The Creation Program has run its course.
