Solemnity of the Most Holy Body
and Blood of Christ

Dt 8:2-3, 14b-16a
Moses said to the people:
“Remember how for forty years now the LORD, your God,
has directed all your journeying in the desert,
so as to test you by affliction
and find out whether or not it was your intention
to keep his commandments.
He therefore let you be afflicted with hunger,
and then fed you with manna,
a food unknown to you and your fathers,
in order to show you that not by bread alone does one live,
but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the LORD.
“Do not forget the LORD, your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
that place of slavery;
who guided you through the vast and terrible desert
with its saraph serpents and scorpions,
its parched and waterless ground;
who brought forth water for you from the flinty rock
and fed you in the desert with manna,
a food unknown to your fathers.”

Brothers and sisters:
The cup of blessing that we bless,
is it not a participation in the blood of Christ?
The bread that we break,
is it not a participation in the body of Christ?
Because the loaf of bread is one,
we, though many, are one body,
for we all partake of the one loaf.
Jn 6:51-58Gospel
Jesus said to the Jewish crowds:
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh for the life of the world.”
The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying,
“How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
Jesus said to them,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood,
you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
has eternal life,
and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food,
and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so also the one who feeds on me
will have life because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven.
Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died,
whoever eats this bread will live forever.”
Catholic Fundamentalism Interpretation:
Moses, The Loving Programmer’s representative, said to the people led from slavery: “Remember how for forty years The Loving Programmer who downloaded His chosen people has directed you through the desert, testing you (as all believers to follow would be tested) and find out if you intended to obey the Operating Instructions He provided. He let you be afflicted by shortages of edible programmed entities and downloaded His food for you to eat, something unknown to the earlier human downloads. He wanted to show you that He could be relied upon, though the worldly processes failed.
He wanted you to know that your lives depend on what He programs for you.
Don’t forget The Loving Programmer Who has freed you from slavery to worldly powers and has brought you to His promised land of freedom. He guided you through the huge, dangerous desert with snakes, scorpions, and drought. He programmed water to flow from flinty rock, and fed you with food that He programmed and downloaded to keep you alive, a new program that He never downloaded for your ancestors.
Praise The Loving Programmer, you who are chosen to be believers.
Glorify The Loving Programmer, O believers. Praise Him, you holy people. He is, with His Angelic Programming Assistants, giving you security, and has blessed the future human programs you carry into the future.
Praise The Loving Programmer, you who are chosen to be believers.
He has programmed peace where you live, and gives you His Body to strengthen your human programs. He downloads His programs among the programmed entities, and does so with blinding speed.
Praise the Loving Programmer, you who are chosen to be believers.
He will download His Program to Jacob, and provide the other chosen peoples of the world with His Operating Instructions. He hasn’t done this for any but the nation of His believers. He hasn’t told them what’s going on.
Praise The Loving Programmer, you who are chosen to be believers.
Fellow believers, when we take Communion, we are downloading within us the power of The Program, Jesus Christ, Who came to earth in perfect, obedient, human form to let all who were to be saved be saved. The same process exists with the Communion bread. It is the one Body of Christ. By taking this, the finest wheat, within ourselves, we become One with Him, because we all partake of the one loaf.
Jesus, God’s Program in perfect, obedient, human form, told the descendents of the Twelve Tribes, “Whoever absorbs the holy download of My Body will live forever; and that bread of finest wheat that I will give is My Flesh for the life of the world.”
The Jews quarreled with each other, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
Jesus answered:
“The truth is, if you do not eat My Flesh and drink My Blood, you do not have (real) life within you. Any human program who downloads Me directly in Flesh and Blood has continual restoration, and I will raise those (faithful, obedient) believers on the last day.
The fact is, My Flesh is true food and My Blood is true drink (with the power to restore and assist your own programs). Any human program (who shows that he has overcome worldly alternatives by eating My Flesh and drinking My Blood will (be in, and) remain in Me, and I (My Holy Program) will remain in that believer.
Just as The Loving Programmer sent me, and I have life because of He (Who wrote The Creation Program, which I am, in human form), so also the one who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood will have his program eternally restored because of Me (the Program being in and continually restoring him).
This (I am) the bread that came down from Heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats This Bread will have his program eternally restored (and operating perfectly).”
