Reading 1 Ez 33:7-9

Thus says the LORD:
You, son of man, I have appointed watchman for the house of Israel;
when you hear me say anything, you shall warn them for me.
If I tell the wicked, “O wicked one, you shall surely die, “
and you do not speak out to dissuade the wicked from his way,
the wicked shall die for his guilt,
but I will hold you responsible for his death.
But if you warn the wicked,
trying to turn him from his way,
and he refuses to turn from his way,
he shall die for his guilt,
but you shall save yourself.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 95:1-2, 6-7, 8-9

R. (8)If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Come, let us sing joyfully to the LORD;
let us acclaim the rock of our salvation.
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us joyfully sing psalms to him.

R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Come, let us bow down in worship;
let us kneel before the LORD who made us.
For he is our God, and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides.

Reading 2 Rom 13:8-10

Brothers and sisters:
Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another;
for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery;
you shall not kill; you shall not steal; you shall not covet, “
and whatever other commandment there may be,
are summed up in this saying, namely,
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Love does no evil to the neighbor;
hence, love is the fulfillment of the law.

 

Gospel Mt 18:15-20

Jesus said to his disciples:
“If your brother sins against you,
go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.
If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.
If he does not listen,
take one or two others along with you,
so that ‘every fact may be established
on the testimony of two or three witnesses.’
If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church.
If he refuses to listen even to the church,
then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.
Amen, I say to you,
whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Again, amen, I say to you,
if two of you agree on earth
about anything for which they are to pray,
it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.”

Catholic Fundamentalism Interpretation:

 

The Loving Programmer is downloading the operating instructions we need to obey when we become aware that another human program is disobeying His instructions.

He is telling us to say to any person who is erring that their individual, human program will be erased if they keep ignoring The Loving Programmer’s operating instructions.

If we don’t tell them, then they will be erased for having been guilty of disobeying, but we who knew, and didn’t say anything, will also be punished, if not erased.

But, if we warn someone who disobeys the operating instructions and try to get that person to obey The Loving Programmer, and they still commit errors, they will be erased, but we shall save ourselves.

 

R.  If you become aware of The Loving Programmer, download everything about Him that you can.

Join together, praising The Loving Programmer, He Who has granted us permanent access to Him.  Let us thankfully download what we can of Him while praising Him.

Put yourself, human program, in a state that allows you to appreciate He Who programmed and downloaded you amidst all there is.  He is our Loving Programmer, and we are the human computers whom He loves and maintains.

I fervently hope that you will gain access to Him, and not let your fear of being upgraded keep you from knowing Him.  Your prior generations had seen, first hand, The Power of The Loving Programmer, and they wanted more proof of His Power than they needed.

Avoid owing any thing to anyone.   The only thing any of us (should) owe is love to one another.  Those who love their neighbors have fulfilled all the laws, they do not commit adultery, kill, steal, covet, or disobey any of the First Programming Log’s Operating Instructions.

All those Operating Instructions can be reduced to:  “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does not hurt a neighbor in any way.  Love is what The Loving Programmer has downloaded as the totality of His Operating Instructions.

 

When The Program took perfect, obedient, human form and appeared among us, He gave believers His Operating Instructions:  “If your brother hurts you, go and tell him, alone, what error he has committed.  If he heeds, and operates according to The Instructions, you have let him access The Loving Programmer.

If he doesn’t listen, take a witness or two so that the facts of his error (or, your’s) can be made clear on the testimony of others.

If he won’t listen to them, tell all the believers.  If he won’t listen to The Church, then treat him (for what he is) a gentile or tax collector.

I am telling you, who will be Bishops in The Church, that if you condemn someone’s behavior on earth, that person is condemned in Heaven.

If you forgive a person on earth, that soul will be forgiven in Heaven.  (The Church has that much power.)

Again, I give you these Operating Instructions:  If two of you (faithful disciples) agree on earth to pray for something, The Loving Programmer will provide the necessary programming assistance to provide it.  Where two or three of the faithful are gathered together in My Name, I am there, in their midst (providing the necessary Programming Assistance.).”
