Selective Outrage is used to keep many from seeing truth.
While we are flooded with small, and even imaginary problems, far greater wrongs occur. Hundreds of millions of families are broken by divorce. Countless children are left lost and confused. All will have a harder time in life.
There are worse things. Billions are killed by abortion, pills, and implants.
We are encouraged to ignore such great evils. We are encouraged to be outraged about The Catholic Church because of a few thousand abuse allegations. We are told to worry about Florida disappearing in rising waters. We are told to be worried about many Imaginary Problems invented to justify funding.

500 years ago, Christendom faced an onslaught of Imaginary Problems. Catholic Indulgences were turned into a crime.
Those who made Indulgences into “a crime against God” killed a hundred thousand of Germany’s poor people in The Peasants’ War. 70,000 English Catholics were killed. So were millions of Catholics in Ireland.
Why? When a Church practice like sending Peter’s Pence to Rome was made into a “Crime against God”, people were distracted. People were confused. While we are distracted by Imaginary Problems, we are most vulnerable to those who hate life, freedom, families, and prosperous neighbors.

Catholics are blessed with perspective. We see that it is wrong to be distracted by comparatively minor sins while ignoring the greatest sin in history, killing billions of our most helpless neighbors.

Selective Outrage is used to keep many from seeing truth.
For 500 years, Selective Outrage has been used to attack The Only Church Jesus Founded. Many have a vested interest in weakening The Catholic Church.
Evil wants no one respecting Jesus enough to obey His Only Church-Founding Decree:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

If The Profiteers of Protestantism had not attacked Catholic Teaching:
“Life must be protected from conception until natural death.”, billions of children, many in strong, married families, would be alive and happy today.
