sloth-from-the-seven-deadly-sins-by-james-todd

Lazier people adopt ever more effortless approaches to salvation.   “The sacrifice of Jesus is complete and all sufficient.  We need no Vatican, Pope, Bishops, priests, rituals, Rosaries, or statues.  We are saved!”  No work there!  Give someone a few dollars every week to be praised for being “sensitive”, and salvation is yours!

Protestantism’s more slothful souls merely announce:  “I believe in Jesus and The Bible!”  That’s as much work as they want to do.

Even lazier are those so paralyzed by sloth they believe they’ll get into Heaven with no work at all!   They merely think, and sometimes say,  “I am a good person.”  Some of them have the energy to nod and try to look wise while repeating that.

When that key has been turned, we are enabled to obey the clear call to Catholic Communion He repeated EIGHTEEN TIMES, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  Another “key”!

Sloth makes some seek simplicity.  They are too lazy to make the effort to be among those of whom He said “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
