. In every generation, why are many are led to reject God, His Son, and His “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”?

Question 1: “Why was Jesus hated by some people?”
Answer: “Jesus had told His first organized enemies: ‘My Father is at work until now, so I am at work.’”

Question 2: “Were some people angry that The Son of God, The Prophesied Messiah, had come to ‘work’ on earth?”
Answer: “Yes! They could not stand to admit that ‘now’ Jesus would do The ‘Father’s work’ on earth. They hated even the thought that The Messiah had come! Their salaries, pensions, and benefits were at risk. They realized: “If people believe in Jesus, we will need to get jobs and work for a living!”

Question 3: “Did Jesus do anything else that made people hate Him?”
Answer: “He did. ‘because he not only broke the sabbath . . ‘”

Question 4: “Let me interrupt you with a question: Didn’t they ‘break the sabbath’ whenever they had some pressing concern?”
Answer: “Yes. But Jesus had ‘Broken the sabbath’ by curing a man they could not cure. That public exposure of the difference between them and Jesus made them desperate. They made a hypocritical excuse for their hateful jealousy!”

Question 5: “What was the real reason they hated Jesus?”
Answer; “They could not admit that Jesus was telling this truth: ‘but he also called God His own Father, making himself equal to God. For this reason they tried all the more to kill him . . .’“

Question 6: “Does a jealous hatred of Jesus still cause scornful disobedience to This Word from Him: ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against It. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.’?
Answer: “Yes. Catholics pray that every person will move themselves to be among His Truly Chosen People! ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.‘”
