We get to Heaven by believing in, and obeying, God. He wants us to get to Heaven. The first step to getting there is asking Him to help us get there.
Satan’s legions of evil spirits work to destroy everyone. They focus most on those who might make their way to The Church and salvation. Temptations are used to draw such souls away from God. These temptations are alive. They are demons.
There are seven tribes of demons: pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth. PEGGALS is a handy acronym with which to remember the names of those who wish our earthly and eternal destruction.
These living, negative energies are satan’s slaves. They’re driven to draw and drag all of us, and our immortal souls, away from God and salvation.
These dark sparks leap into our minds from printed pages. They hide in conversations. At every opportunity, they insinuate themselves into our minds, erasing whatever goodness they can.
These destroyers prompt the media messages that strengthen our own, internalized demons of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth. Like termites eating away at houses, evil spirits try to destroy our souls while separating us from God and His goodness.
Satan’s largest, most organized, and virulent attacks are aimed at the Catholic Church. Such big waves of attacks come from “mergers” of the tribes of demons. Communism, for instance, unites elements from the tribes of pride, envy, and anger. Working together, they have been able to kill countless millions of Christians and drag billions of souls into hell. The communists’ little brothers are the liberals of every nation, always preferring understanding to knowing, studying to doing, and thinking to praying.
Moslems are an older enemy of those who obey the command to love their neighbors. They are led by those whose souls have been horribly distorted by vicious, evil spirits that tempt from the the tribes of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, and lust.
Since there are more tribes of demons allied with Moslems than communists, they are the more dangerous enemy. They are so consumed with hatred that they fight Communists demons almost as fervently as they wage eternal war against Christ’s angels.
Demons wage war against human souls by tempting. Temptations are alive. Temptations are demons.
