The best of breed heed the need for God’s Creed.

Catholics fear God’s Power. Jesus will decide if we get into Heaven! Jesus will decide if we don’t get into Heaven! The best of breed heed the need for God’s Creed.

Protestants don’t spend much time “fearing God”. They proudly proclaim what they want to believe. “Jesus is my friend! I believe in Him! I have been ‘born again’! Jesus has to let me into Heaven!”

+

The Bible tells us how ridiculous that is! Philippians 2:12 is clear.

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”

The best of breed heed the need for God’s Creed.
+

The Passage says “Obey”! Then, “Obey more”!

The Bible tells us obedience is very important! Catholics focus on two things.

1. We focus on what we have done wrong.

2. We focus on what we failed to do better.

+

Catholics do not merely “think” about that”!

We focus! The Bible tells us it is “our job” to work out “our salvation”. We actually have to do something if we are to be allowed into Heaven!

Our salvation depends on actually obeying The Teachings of Jesus!

+

Catholics have an advantage. We verbalize our shortcomings in Confession. That helps us spend our lives trying to do better. We live in “fear and trembling” of not being among the only people Jesus lets into Heaven. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

The Bible says it is not enough to merely “work”. We are told to work with “fear and trembling.”

+

Protestants reply: “That’s no fun!”

None of them “fear” God enough to obey His Actual, Church-Founding Word! “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Protestants hate many Catholic Teachings.

Catholics are grateful to obey. With “fear and trembling”!
