The Bible tells us: the “fate of the rich” is clear.

Some sunsets are there to give everyone a vision of:  “The Lake of Fire”.

Some sunsets are there to give everyone a vision of:  “The Lake of Fire”.

Question 1: ” What is the ‘eternal fate’ of ‘the rich’?”

Answer:  “The short Daily Reading of James 5:1-6 begins by giving a warning to bloated billionaires:  ‘Come now, you rich, weep and wail over your impending miseries.’

~

Question 2: “What ‘impending miseries’ does St. James tell us are coming to ‘the rich’?”

Answer:  “St. James speaks specifically about the ‘lake of fire’ in which most bloated billionaires will suffer forever:  ‘Your wealth has rotted away, your clothes have become moth-eaten, your gold and silver have corroded, and that corrosion will be a testimony against you;  it will devour your flesh like a fire.’

~

Question 3:  “Does that Bible Passage help us see specifically how deeply into ‘the lake of burning sulfur’ the souls of ‘the rich’ may sink?”

Answer:  “Simple arithmetic tells us that every billion dollars a ‘rich’ person controls equals about 400,000 ounces of gold.  Every billion dollars equates to 33,000 pounds (15,000 kg) of ‘weight’ on their soul!”

~

Question 4:  “How much does a soul weigh?”

Answer:   “We get an idea from the question in Matthew 7:3-5:  ‘Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?’  The ‘speck of dust’ describes the size of a soul in which we are able to see flaws.”

~

Question 5:  “What sin of ‘the rich’ sinks many souls into ‘the lake of burning fire’ mentioned five times in The Book of Revelation?”

Answer:  “‘Behold, the wages you withheld from the workers who harvested your fields are crying aloud;  and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.’

All who use earthly powers to enrich themselves by impoverishing and discouraging families are condemned to spend eternity in ‘the lake of burning fire’.”

~

Question 6:  “Does God tell us how to identify those who let greed and gluttony condemn their immortal souls to that awful eternity?”

Answer:  “St. James tells us who they are!  ‘You have lived on earth in luxury and pleasure;  you have fattened your hearts for the day of slaughter.’  Those who hurt families are led by tribes of demons (pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth) who control as many as they can.”

~

Question 7:  “What did the worst bloated billionaires do?”

Answer:  “They hated He Who told them to ‘Love God and your neighbors as yourselves.’   They led those who took money from them to crucify Jesus:  ‘You have condemned;  you have murdered The Righteous One;  He offers you no resistance.’

~

Question 8:  “How can a ‘bloated billionaire’ keep their souls from ‘the lake of fire’?”

Answer:  “Return to the beginning of Today’s Catholic Reading and obey!  ‘Come now, you rich, weep and wail over your impending miseries.’  May all be saved from being another Victim of Protestantism who violates God’s First Commandment by putting earthly interests ‘before God’.”

~

Question 9:  “What should the rest of us do when we see how much damage ‘bloated billionaires’ and their ruthless agents are doing to us and our families?”

Answer:  “Hopefully, we will be guided by the example of Jesus, and ‘offer them no resistance.’  That keeps them from using ‘We must maintain order!’ as an excuse for greater tyranny.”

Catholics know that God’s Justice is done by letting sin-filled souls sink as far into ‘the lake of fire’ as they want.   His Justice also lets our souls rise proportionately closer to God.”
