All of Eve’s children have temptations.  The deadliest temptation?  Believing that “I am right.  Jesus was wrong.” when Catholic teachings get in the way of some base desire.

Martin Luther, and those who followed him, made many think it is respectable to leave The Only Church Jesus Founded when it stands in the way of what we want.

Obedient Catholics know our place.  We  are God-fearing.  We know Jesus Fulfilled The Prophecies.   We know Jesus will judge each soul.  We know that He said “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”  We are blessed to understand that same sentence also means “You are My enemies if you disobey My commands.”

One of His “commands” takes the form of instruction:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics shudder in horror at disobeying Him!  We want those “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to open its gates for us!  We strive to keep our thoughts, words, and deeds aligned with Catholic Teaching.

For the past 400 years, Luther has merely provided excuses for proud Protestants to proclaim, “I am right.  The Only Church Jesus Founded is wrong.”  Billions of willfully disobedient souls have, thereby, ended up in eternal agony.  Their sin?  They preferred Luther’s excuses to avoid The Only Church about which Jesus said, “. .  and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Luther’s self-serving justifications have cleansed The Church of those who commit the great sin of believing “I am right.  The Church Jesus Founded is wrong.”  In every generation, those who prefer self-satisfaction leave The Church Jesus Founded.  Forever.

The deadliest temptation?  “I am right.  The Church Jesus Founded is wrong.”
