Watching some of our neighbors decide to gain power and money by lying lets us see why Dante called his view of time and space The Divine Comedy. A comedy is a play with a happy ending. It is justice that lets those who want to separate themselves from God do so forever. Catholic Fundamentalism calls the place where The Divine Comedy takes place “The Creation Program”. We eliminate the confusion that surrounds us by realizing that we are players in a very long-running comedy. The Divine Comedy, drama in The Creation Program, describe the sets where we spend our days in, and beyond, the clay.
It helps to understand what’s going on by looking at those involved with the Global Warming/Freezing Problem. These unfortunate souls are some of the most vocal and obvious of the those who lie for money. They prefer short-term gain and have made themselves insensible to its consequences; long-term pain.
Their history is interesting. Every decade or so, the Global Freezing Problem would be replaced. The Imaginary Problem people would then focus on the Global Warming Problem. They used to schedule the switches with sunspot cycles. The increased solar output of the first half of each solar cycle gave some credibility to Global Warming. They would switch a little after the peak of the cycle. The decreased solar output caused lower temperatures. It all seemed somewhat believable. A few magazines and newspapers would mention the “growing concerns” about both Global Freezing and Global Warming, a few “scientists” got funding to study the “problem” and that was pretty much the end of it.
In those more innocent times, both the Global Freezing and the Global Warming people had some credibility. Most people were too busy to notice what was, after all, an insignificant problem. Those who did notice shrugged their shoulders and continued spending their lives doing something useful.
Then, the Global Freezing/Warming people found that bribe-addicted public officials would vote for lunacies like wind farms and solar generators. They needed Global Warming to be so fearful that it would justify taking trillions of dollars from taxpayers and giving it to their friends. So, the Global Warming Problem was kept alive, long after the solar cycle went downhill and temperatures dropped. The lower temperatures just prompted bigger lies. The Global Warmers simply couldn’t afford to go back to the Global Freezing “problem”. Their scam became so lucrative that they’re still focused on Global Warming while they squeeze every last dollar/pound/Euro out of it.
The Global Freezing/Warming people were not the first to make money and gain power by changing positions.
Throughout the early 1930s, the Communist Party was virulently anti-Nazi. Meetings were held, protests made, books were written, speeches given, all on the subject of “humanity’s duty to destroy the evil Nazis.”
Suddenly, in 1939, every bit of that reversed. Suddenly, Hitler and Stalin signed the Nazi-Russian Non-Aggression Pact. Every Communist in the world was told to reverse their positions and enthusiastically support the Nazi Party. They were forced to make that reversal immediately. As soon as the order to support the Nazis came down from Moscow, it was obeyed.

Their souls grow darker and smaller with every lie that’s told and every truth that’s hidden. The older Global Freezing/Warming scamsters have gotten so used t0 predicting famines that never happened and floods that never came that they don’t even notice that the souls they never believed they had are shrinking beyond the possibility of redemption.
The Creation Program was written and downloaded to let us beloved human programs choose to believe and obey God and be saved. Or, not. The Divine Comedy, drama in The Creation Program, provides wonderfully helpful perspective for the long haul.
If we find that we are believing lies, we may be telling them. If so, we might choose to find a better way to spend time.
