The First Part of Today’s Reading Relates Especially Well to Catholic Fundamentalism.

Sir 42:15-25

“Now will I recall God’s works (what The Loving Programmer has Programmed);
what I have seen, I will describe.
At God’s word were His works brought into being; (His Word is His Program. The components of His Program came into physical being when He downloaded The Creation Program.)
they do His will as he has ordained for them)” (The entities that He programmed act among themselves according to The Programmer’s will. In acting as they are programmed to act, they also interrelate, as programmed, with all the other entities He has programmed and downloaded.)

Even the dimmest glimmer of understanding that God programs in three dimensions is a great step forward. By exploring it, we grow in understanding that, first, He has programmed all there is. Secondly, He downloaded the Creation Program, and set it into motion.

All of us stagger back from realizing that His power is so great that galaxies and all that is in them were downloaded in history’s most amazing six days. But, once that thought, a great gift for us in our time, is given to us, we may go on growing in appreciation of His power over, and His love for, us, each one a unique human program whom He dearly loves.
