The Heart of Protestantism: “Jesus has to let Me into Heaven!”

One belief beats in The Heart of Protestantism: “Jesus has to let Me into Heaven!”

Protestantism repeats many versions of that vanity. “I believe in Jesus. He has to let Me into Heaven!” They love to tell people that God has to do what they demand!

Protestant vanity makes Protestant reality.

Catholic Teaching about getting into Heaven puts Jesus First.

Catholics know that the only people Jesus lets into Heaven must be among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics do our Sacred Duty to share that simple Teaching from Jesus with our beloved Protestant neighbors.

And, we respectfully share the logical conclusion! “Jesus said that we may only be among His “friends” if we obey Him.”

+

Then, we state a simple fact. “Jesus did Speak One Church Into Being with His Holy Word!”

We tell them of Christ’s Word that is The Foundation of The Catholic Church.

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

+

At this point, every Protestant has a choice.

Choice #1. They may say: “I do believe that Jesus always told The Truth. So, I do realize that only those who obey Jesus may be among His obedient “friends”. I do understand: if I willfully choose to disobey Jesus, I must put myself among His disobedient enemies.”

OR

Choice #2. “I choose to believe that all I need to do to get to Heaven is to say ‘I believe in Jesus.'”

+

Those who make choice #2 are describing the Nature of the Vanity that drives them. “God has to do what I tell Him to do! I am telling Him that He has to let Me into Heaven!”
