The Holy Father and the Bishops have put us in a difficult position.

The Church is a living Chain of Command that reaches from The Holy Trinity to the most humble Catholic.  At every level, obedience is required.

If we see people who are not as obedient as they should be, we are not to judge them, but encourage them to get in line.  We have to obey the Rules of The Church, even if those above us do not.

Those really far above us, like The Holy Father and the Bishops, have been given clear instructions by Mary, God’s most important and beloved Creature.  She clearly expressed Her desire that The Holy Father and the Bishops consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.  She also clearly said that a message she left should be revealed to the world in 1960.

To date, The Holy Father and the Bishops have not clearly and publicly consecrated Russia to The Immaculate Heart of Mary.  And, they have not released the message, known as The Third Secret of Fatima.

The highest levels of The Church have given every Catholic a problem.  When we are asked, “Why should we obey the teachings of The Church when the Pope and the Bishops don’t obey the Mother of God?”

It puts us Catholics in a difficult position.  We cannot say, for instance, “Do not divorce.  The Church is against it.” without running the risk of hearing in reply, “The Pope doesn’t do what the Mother of God wants.  Why should we listen to Him?”

The Holy Father and the Bishops have put us in a difficult position.  It is a test of faith.  We must be faithful in all things, whether they are, or not.

Still, one may hope to be forgiven for asking, “Why can’t they just consecrate Russia and release the Third Secret?  Why can’t they?
