The Last Day of 2024 is our First Prayer for The New Year.

THIS IS:  A Simple Reason to "Be Catholic!"

THIS IS:  A Simple Reason to “Be Catholic!”

Question 1:  “Do four short verses in 1 John 2:18-21 tell us to ‘Be Catholic!’ on the last day of the year?”

Answser:  “The Most Beloved Disciple explains to one group of people:  ‘Children, it is the last hour;  and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared.   Thus we know, this is the last hour.’

~

Question 2:  “What is ‘the other group of people’?”

Answer:  “The ‘other group’ includes all who are specifically identified in These Bible Words:  They went out from us, but they were not really of our number;  if they had been, they would have remained with us.  Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number.’

~

Question 3:  “Is The Most Beloved Disciple describing those who ‘went out from us’ and rejected The Only Church Spoken Into Being by The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Answer:  “Again, Simple Bible Truth Affirms:  ‘Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number.’

~

Question 4:  “Did St. John affirm the happy fate of every soul who remained Faithful to The Only Church led by The First Catholic Pope and his Successors?”

Answer:  “St. John has given The Same Message to every Catholic for the past 2,000 years:  ‘But you have the anointing that comes from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.’

~

Question 6:  “Why did St. John write to those ‘anointed’ with The Seven Catholic Sacraments and not to ‘the other group’?”

Answer:  “‘I write to you not because you do not know The Truth but because you do, and because every lie is alien to The Truth.’
