The Profiteers of Protestantism have two very silly objections to Catholicism.

1. They delight in repeating: “Catholics worship idols!” The fact is that no Catholic has ever worshiped an idol. Why do they say something so silly? It is because Catholics are blessed to have reminders of Holy, Obedient Men, Women, and Angels in our Churches.

The Profiteers of Protestantism make a living by leading their donors to disobey The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Protestant ministers do not want reminders of obedient Saints in their empty shells of buildings!

Images of obedient Saints and Angels remind their smarter donors that their own minister is disobeying Jesus! That is why they say: “Catholics worship idols! It distracts them, and their donors, from admitting that they worship the Idols of their Personal Opinions.

. . .

2. Many Profiteers of Protestantism also love to look sincere as they repeat: “The word ‘Catholic’ is not in The Bible.”

What do their donors do when they hear that? They nod their heads up and down as if they have heard something intelligent.

Catholics are grateful the word “Catholic” is not in The Bible. Catholic congregations are blessed to not be bothered by people who are too vain to understand that The Catholic Church is the only Church on earth that has been led by Successors to Peter for 2,000 years.

We are glad that those too vain to obey Jesus have that handy excuse to avoid The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics do not have to put up with those too vain to obey Jesus.
