Question 1: “How does The Prophet Isaiah tell Catholics we are right to ‘Be Catholic’?”
Answer: “Today’s Catholic Reading begins with Is 50:5-9. ‘The Lord God opens my ear that I may hear; and I have not rebelled, I have not turned back.’ Every Catholic ‘hears’ The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope and we have ‘not turned back’ from: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’”

Question 2: “Where else does Today’s Reading confirm our blessed choice to ‘Be Catholic’?”
Answer: “Today’s Psalm, 116:1-9 describes what Catholics are blessed to do! ‘I will walk before The Lord in the land of the living.’ God has inclined His ear to me . . . I was brought low and He saved me . . . He has freed my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling . . . I shall walk before The Lord in the land of the living’!

Question 3: “How do Catholics encourage our beloved neighbors to share our faith?”
Answer: “Galatians 6:14 tells us to guide our words with this: ‘May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord through which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world.’ We focus on being grateful to Jesus for helping us put ourselves, our immortal soul, and the world in proper perspective.”

Question 4: “Does Today’s Reading specifically tell us to ‘Be Catholic’?”
Answer: “Mark 8:27-35 tells us what Catholics are blessed to understand about The Truth God revealed to Peter when Jesus asked: ‘Who do you say that I am?‘ God give Peter to give the answer that every Catholic meaningfully respects: ‘Peter said to Him in reply, ‘You are The Christ.’”

Catholics are blessed to know that successors to Peter, Personally Chosen by Jesus to be The First Catholic Pope, have been leading The Only Church specifically given “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” by Jesus Christ, Himself, for the past 2,000 years.
May all be blessed to “Be Catholic” and get those “keys” for our immortal souls from the Only Church Jesus left them!
