The Queen of Sheba: a “Hidden Prophecy” for Catholic Women. #10.

The Queen of Sheba was a "Hidden Prophesy" of Catholic Women who benefit by loving intelligence enough to have Faith in Jesus!

When the Queen of Sheba heard how intelligent Solomon was, she had to meet him!  1 Kings 10:1-10 tells us that she came to Jerusalem with many people, camels, spices, jewels, and 120 talents of gold.  Each talent weighed about 75 pounds.  At 12 Troy ounces to the pound, that gold would be worth $540,000,000.00, today.  An average camel carries about 300 lbs, so there were 300 camels, just to carry the gold!

She was able to appreciate the Wisdom God gave to Solomon:  “Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report I heard.  Blessed are your men, blessed these servants of yours, who stand before you always and listen to your wisdom.  Blessed be the LORD, your God, Whom it has pleased to place you on the throne of Israel. In His enduring love for Israel, the LORD has made you king to carry out judgment and justice.”

Catholics understand the politics involved!  Her payment to Solomon and his powerful army helped ensure her nation’s safety from invaders from the North, including Solomon!

Moses had previously married a Cushite woman.  That connection had provided some “enduring” protection from the Cushite Peoples who surrounded Sheba’s nation.  Now, with Solomon protecting her, The Queen of Sheba had made a brilliant investment in her family and her nation’s future.

Similarly, Catholic women are today’s “Hidden Prophecy”They are blessed to respect The Perfect Intelligence of Jesus enough to obey His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

May all women be blessed to be as brilliant as The Queen of Sheba, and make the investment of Catholic Faith to have God’s “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” protecting them and their families.

Forever.
