When we think of He Who has risen, we may give a thought to whose who won’t.

We who believe as fully as Catholic Fundamentalists have a glimmer of The Loving Programmer’s immense power.  Not only was He able to program particles, and compile them into the free will-allowing systems and beings around us, but also, He was able to allow Himself to be erased by those who hate Him and then, Himself, be re-programmed back to life, both on earth and to His eternal reign in Heaven.

The same promise of ourselves being able to join with Him there has been granted to every human being on earth.  Since we have to be obedient to His commands to save our souls, the disobedient will not let themselves be saved.  They are simply too concerned with the things of the world to be bothered aligning themselves with the next.

Today’s second reading sums it up well:

Col 3:1-4

Brothers and sisters:
If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Think of what is above, not of what is on earth.
For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ your life appears,
then you too will appear with him in glory.”

When we find ourselves entranced with earthly things, and that includes things of the mind like Darwinism, excessive environmentalism, and alternative cosmologies, we do so because we follow agents for the other side who labor to lead each of our souls to their dark domains below.

Listening to, and following them, is the biggest mistake that can be made.
